To honor and empower the mom-to-be, there are various small rituals and shared activities that can be performed at a Blessingway celebration.

These include hand massages, foot baths, making flower wreaths, singing & dancing, making a birth necklace, making candles, telling stories and writing greeting cards, making a birth candle, painting a baby bump with natural paints and eating and drinking together.

At the end of the ceremony, the expectant mother should be able to head towards the birth feeling strengthened and full of positive energy.
